On June 14, after intense bidding, under the unified organization of Sinopec (6.320, 0.16, 2.60%) Group's oilfield division, Zhongyuan Oilfield, on behalf of Sinopec, won the oil and gas exploration rights of four blocks in the Zhoukou depression belt of the South North China Basin in Henan Province.
The newly won blocks span Sanmenxia, Luoyang, Xuchang and Zhoukou and other areas, with a mineral rights area of about 2675.13 square kilometers, accounting for about two-thirds of the current exploration rights in Dongpuold District, greatly expanding the future development space of the oil field and tens of thousands of workers, and consolidating the new security.
In recent years, Zhongyuan Oilfield has taken "mineral expansion rights" as the "first priority" to boost oilfield development, carried out linkage management of mineral rights and reserves, accelerated the process of upgrading reserves and transferring exploration rights to mining rights, and ensured that high-quality positions are not lost. At the same time, closely track the transfer and delivery of mining rights, actively participate in the bidding of mining rights, and strive to obtain large-scale high-quality mining rights.
In the next step, the oilfield will carry out the geological survey and seismic survey work of the new winning block in an orderly manner, accelerate the deployment of a number of parameter Wells, and recruit valuable data for the exploration work of the new block, and strive to obtain new oil and gas discoveries as soon as possible.
